Having our last meeting this afternoon working out last minute details. Getting our travel SIMs to talk to one another, checking out rail passes ( you get a scrap of paper for almost $2000 and if you lose it, you're stuffed! AND you only get one piece of paper for 3 people!) Hope the trains are a little more modern as we'll be spending quite a few daylight hours on them...
Feeling excited but sad at the same time. Excited at experiencing so many different cultures, seeing so many amazing places, visiting icons I've wanted to see since I was at school, but sad at leaving my warm house and my cuddly kitties- wish I could take them with me. I am sure I will miss my family and friends and maybe even my work! I've never had 4 months holiday before, so it's going to be a completely new experience.
We are checking which places include breakfast, and are getting quite excited when there's a buffet breakfast! Looks like we are going to fast in Norway, lose a few kilos, and get fit for the rest of the trip. Sounds like a plan...
